Boquete is located in the Chiriquí highlands (approximately 300 miles west of Panama City) and 55 miles northeast of the Costa Rica border. To the north, Boquete is just 7 kilometers (3.3 miles) from Bocas del Toro Province. Less than 23.5 miles south lies David City with a population of approximately 145,000.
