Preliminary data from the first half of the year show an occupancy rate of around 51.8%, which indicates a steady demand for accommodations across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additionally, Panama\u2019s tourism sector benefited from a 10.3% increase in foreign currency earnings, totaling $3,083.0 million from January to June 2024 (excluding international transportation).
