Los ratios de capital tambi\u00e9n se han beneficiado de una mayor proporci\u00f3n de activos l\u00edquidos con menor densidad de riesgo. Si bien la perspectiva de capital sigue siendo alta, cercana al 17% durante el horizonte de calificaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Las calificaciones en escala nacional IDR, GSR se basan en el respaldo potencial que recibir\u00eda Banconal de la Rep\u00fablica de Panam\u00e1 (BBB- Outlook Estable), en caso de ser necesario.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La opini\u00f3n de respaldo de Fitch est\u00e1 muy influenciada por la garant\u00eda estatal subsidiaria general para todo pasivo establecida en la Ley Org\u00e1nica de Banconal (art\u00edculo 3).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fitch sostiene que el Banco Nacional de Panam\u00e1 cumple un rol extraoficial como prestamista de \u00faltima instancia en el pa\u00eds, lo cual se ha evidenciado en diferentes momentos de la historia de estr\u00e9s, ya que el banco ha sido receptor de fondos de contingencia para inyectar liquidez al sistema .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan Fitch, una de las fortalezas financieras del Banco Nacional proviene de la estructura de pasivos basada en dep\u00f3sitos de bajo costo del gobierno. En t\u00e9rminos de liquidez, el banco tiene una m\u00e9trica s\u00f3lida de 39,5% de pr\u00e9stamos a dep\u00f3sitos (en comparaci\u00f3n con la mayor\u00eda de los pares locales e internacionales), y sus activos l\u00edquidos cubren el 81,8% de los dep\u00f3sitos totales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El informe continu\u00f3 destacando el modelo de negocio de la instituci\u00f3n que se define por sus m\u00faltiples roles, por un lado, es un banco universal propiedad del gobierno y, por otro lado, un tesorero del estado.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seg\u00fan el Banco Nacional, mantiene buenos \u00edndices de rentabilidad; la m\u00e9trica central de utilidad operativa a activos ponderados por riesgo (RWA) fue de 2,2 % en marzo de 2022 (diciembre de 2021: 2,3 %; diciembre de 2020: 2,3 %) con un promedio de cuatro a\u00f1os de 2,7 %.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Esto le permite al Banco Nacional de Panam\u00e1 tener acceso a fondos p\u00fablicos, resultando en la cartera de liquidez m\u00e1s grande de Panam\u00e1.
